So I just got my invisalign yesterday. If I'm a good girl and wear them all the time I will have straight teeph by this time next year. However..let me tell you what a giant pain in the ass they are!! First of all they (my dentist and her assistant the hound from hell) glued clear brackets on my upper and lower fangs. Theses brackets hold the clear guards that slowly move my teeth straight. I look like a little vampire with these clear brackets.The clear guards are as tight as virgin on prom night. Good Lord. I cannot get over how sore my poor teeth are. And just when i get used to the guards I have now..I'll get a new set. Every month until I'm done. So, how wonderful does this sound? But wait..it get better! Anytime I want to eat I have to take out my clear guards, eat then brush and floss before I put the guards back in. What a giant pain in the ass! No snacking for me. Ha..and yesterday I made the mistake of trying to put gum in my mouth. That didn't work too well. So as I sit here at the barber shop, I'm bummed that it is slow, my teeth hurt, and I'm hungry but don't want to deal with all the brushing and flossing. Damn u teeph!!
